A Uganda gorilla trekking permit costs USD 800 per person. Our full 3-day Bwindi packages start at USD 1,890 including permit, park fees, lodge, guide, transfers and meals.

When is the best time to go on a Uganda safari?+

The two dry seasons — June to September and December to February — are ideal for gorilla trekking and game drives, with easier trails and better wildlife visibility.

Do I need vaccinations for a Uganda safari?+

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Uganda. We recommend consulting your travel doctor about malaria prophylaxis and routine boosters.

How fit do I need to be for gorilla trekking?+

You should be comfortable hiking for 2 to 6 hours through hilly rainforest terrain. Porters are available at the trailhead to carry your gear and assist along the way.
